Hundred Word Challenge Week #7

I pranced into school that morning and headed for my locker, feeling like I was floating on a cloud. My team had won three polo tournaments in a row and I was positive we  could  win it all. Just as I was about to close my locker, I noticed a flash of movement in my mirror. I whirled around just in time to see a man headed towards me. He grabbed my arm and started dragging me away.
"What's going on?" I asked, but it was too late. He flung me into a dark room and, as the door slammed, I knew my cover was blown.

100 Word Challenge Week #5

My Special Item

The handle clenches in my hand whenever I ride a horse, feeling right to me. It looks like a long purple stick to other people, but to me it is a very important horseback riding tool. It gets the lazy mare trotting when she doesn't listen to the kicks I give her, and the small whack on the shoulder from it encourages her to behave. The day my Mom and I bought it, along with my other riding supplies, I don't think we realized how long it would help me for. Now, I will not leave the stable without it.
